sewing habit. my second dress.

one piece sleeve. drew it after looking at one of phoebe's shirts.

the bodice. same for front and back. just cut a v-neck for the front.

ended up remeasuring phoebe before i cut the fabric. good thing i did. she needed like four more inches around the waste. what can i say? i'm a novice.

the finished product. probably should have shown you how i did the neckline. it was fabulous. and confusing. the turtleneck was separate. (and it's not a dickey.)

how ridiculously cute, right?

my first dress

the only frequently asked question:
did you use a pattern? most certainly. it was one of those easy patterns for amateurs and it was still a little tricky for me. necklines and arm holes were a new experience for me.

despite it being tricky, i made it in two sittings all within 24 hours. and, i'd do it again.

by the way, i made baby bedding almost a year ago

what my living room looks like when i'm in the middle of a project

the bumper and birdie sheet

the beginnings of a simple quilt. see the piping on the bumper? i put that on the quilt, too.

more of the same. i like it.
